Welcome to PPG Flights. This site is non-commercial and exists as a place for me to share my experiences with PPG. PPG stands for Powered Paragliding. Powered Paragliding is a form of ultralight aviation which combines a Paraglider wing and a backpack mounted motor and propeller.
PPG allows for the freedom of flight in a very safe and economical package. With no licensing requirements and relatively low training and equipment costs, PPG offers a very approachable entry into the world of aviation.
More important to many is the fact that PPG allows for a freedom of flight that simply cannot be found in a traditional aircraft. We launch from open fields and simply run into the sky! We can fly our machines within inches of the ground while dragging our feet in the grass or just as easily ascend thousands of feet to take in a wider view.
